Allison & Vanessa had their 1 year appointment with the pediatrician today. I was more hopeful than I have been about their weight gain and growth because they just feel so much heavier to me! I think the WCM (white/whole cows milk) is doing the trick much better than formula.

They're still my little beans, but they grow with each appointment and gain weight on a steady curve, so while the percentage includes a large range of what is "average" among children, my children are small but consistent so they're perfectly normal!
We've been trying to learn how to blow kisses today, it's so funny when I put their hands to their mouths and make kissing noises, it looks like after a few days of practice they'll get the hang of it, they only did it a few times, but it's so cute!
Our "I'm going to be a big sister" shirts came in the mail today, holy crap I think I'm in love. They are absolutely stunning! Worth every penny! I can't WAIT to put them on the girls and snap some photos for the big announcement! I've decided to wait until at least 6 weeks if I can't wait until my first ultrasound. My first doctors appointment is next Tuesday at 5w6d so I'll at least find out when my first ultrasound is. If it's not too far off in the future (sometime before or around 8 weeks) then I'll hold off on the announcement, but if I can't contain my excitement then I'm sticking with 6 weeks.
That's about all I've got today, very tired and hoping I'll be able to fall asleep a lot more quickly than I have been lately. Seems like I can't sleep anymore, but am so tired all day long! I'll save the rest of the pregnancy talk for tomorrow when I do my 5 week update. 5 weeks already!
